adl_unlink_wsRemoving a workspace from a tree |
Quick Reference |
AbstractThe adl_unlink_ws command suppresses a workspace in one or more trees |
adl_unlink_ws workspace_name -tree ws_tree_name... [-h|-help|-?]
Data associated with the workspace are suppressed too.
The name of the tree(s) where the workspace must be suppressed is given as argument. You can notice that the adl_rm_ws deletes a workspace from all the trees where it is declared. The adl_unlink_ws command deletes a workspace only from a part of the trees in which it is declared.
With this command you can reduce the number of trees in which a multi-tree workspace is declared. It is the opposite command of the adl_link_ws command.
No image is refreshed, even if there is a current one. This means that the frameworks
of this tree are still present in the images. The adl_ds_ws command will display that no
image is refreshed. The command displays the following message: After unlink: yes | no
after the table showing the refresh state of the workspace, tree by tree
The workspace cannot be a mono-tree one.
Promotions coming from the workspace to be suppressed must have been collected.
All the children's workspaces of the workspace to be suppressed must be already suppressed in the tree where you want to delete it.
local modifications are lost.
