Abstract

The following reference article describes the different types of mesh parts, their attributes and usage.

This paper explains two types of mesh part:

the Surface mesher. The description of all attributes of the Surface mesh part.
the Octree mesher. The description of all attributes of the Octree mesh part.

And also present some useful APIs to have access to the mesh part attributes :

You can have access to the mesh part element type by using the method Get/SetGlobalSpecification with the input parameters "SAMElementsType".
