Launching the Reconciliation Window

This task describes how to launch the Reconciliation window, which gives you complete access to all Reconciliation functionality.
 
The following two cases will render the reconciliation impossible (and will generate an incident report) because multiple PRCs will be in the reconciliation session:
  • inserting a contextual part in a product structure that was not its original context
  • deactivating a unique instance of a product from a product structure
     
Before you begin, you must open the product/assembly you want to reconcile.

From the Reconcile Workbench

  1. In the menu bar, select View  >  Toolbars  >  Reconcile.
    The Reconcile toolbar is displayed.

  2. Click the Launch Reconciliation icon . 
    The Reconcile window is displayed.

From the FileDesk Workbench

  1. In the menu bar, select File  >  Desk .
    The Desk window is displayed.

  2. Right-click the object you want to reconcile and select Launch Document Reconciliation icon . 
    The Reconcile window is displayed.
