Seeing Assembly Constraints

The purpose of the command is to hide design details (specifically, assembly constraints), which may not be of value to all users and which can distract users from those aspects of the geometry they wish to observe.

Constraints are the geometrical or dimensional relation between several geometric elements of different components. They may be used to define the positioning of components.

With constraints shown

With constraints hidden

If you would prefer not see assembly constraint markers, check the box beside View > Show/Hide Assembly Constraints.
The constraints remain hidden during the remainder of the V5 session, regardless of the V5 products accessed, unless you ask to show them again.  However, the next time you start a V5 session, you will need to set the hide option if you again wish the constraints hidden.
